What keep us alive

Every artist want to be recognized for his art and the message it carries on. But there is a catch.
As soon as you get some attention from the general public, are in books, enter galleries or museums, you end up getting stuck in your own image, a print of a moment you have been recognized and accepted for. People love you for something you are probably not anymore. Or maybe you are. That’s even worst. It means you gave up somewhere on the way. You probably seat in a comfort zone from where everything is easier and the view better.
We can’t completely blame those who do so. An artist life is mostly going through the struggle of the creative process we often feel will change the world, to the struggle of surviving in that same world which obviously doenst really care of what we do.
Still. Challenges, in every parts of our lives, is what keep us alive.
